- Description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated EASA Part 66 B1 Licensed Engineer with DASH8 Q400 type ratings to join our client’s team on a contract basis in OTP, Romania. As a Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for the certification & safety of our client’s aircraft, performing Line Maintenance. This is a contract position, and the contract will be from October 2023 for 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Certify work on our customers’ aircraft & engines
- Troubleshoot defects & deal efficiently with recurring & deferred defects
- Work with the LMM & MM to provide a high standard of Quality and safety
- Accept Parts into stores according to your approval document & MOE
- Fly on our customers’ aircraft from time to time as a flight mechanic
- Ensure the premises & equipment are maintained to a high standard
Requirements:
- Hold a valid EASA Part 66 B1 Aircraft Engineers License
- Type Rated on DASH8 Q400
- Have valid type training certificates
- 6 months relevant experience in the last 2 years on DASH8 Q400 or a similar type
- Personal experience logbook signed by QA to verify recency
- Quality statements & references confirming experience on type
- Valid HF, FTS and EWIS certificates
- Familiar with AMOS & Microsoft Office
- Essential to be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Passport or EU-issued ID Card
- The right to work in the EU
- Have your own personal toolbox
Contract Terms:
- The duration of the contract is 12 months
- Expected Start is early October, 2023
- Shift Pattern is 20 on,10 off, or 15 on 15 off
- Working Hours are a mixture of days and nights approximately 8 -12 hours per shift.
- Pay rate is on application. Pay frequency is monthly by the 10th of the month
- Flights are provided for every shift rotation to your nearest international airport
- Accommodation is provided adjacent
